HYUNDAI VELOSTER WINS VINCENTRIC BEST VALUE IN AMERICA, THIRD YEAR IN A ROW

For the third year in a row, Hyundai’s award-winning Veloster is named a Best Value in America winner from Vincentric, the automotive research firm specializing in automotive cost of ownership. The 2015 Veloster edged out competitors like the Honda Fit and Volkswagen Golf and to take the top spot in the subcompact segment.
“As a three-time winner of the Best Value in America awards, the Veloster delivered best-in-class performance with a total cost of ownership that was more than 7 percent below expected,” said David Wurster, president, Vincentric. “Contributing to its success was low depreciation costs and below average operating costs, making it a tough competitor to beat in a highly competitive segment.”
The Vincentric Best Value Awards measure ownership costs in eight different areas: depreciation, fuel, insurance, financing, repairs, fees and taxes, opportunity cost, and maintenance. Using a model level analysis, the company ranks vehicles based on their expected cost of ownership, considering annual driving mileage and driving experience.  The Best Value in America awards identify vehicles with lower than expected total cost of ownership versus the competition.
“The Veloster was built to have outstanding value over the years, without sacrificing on performance or driver experience,” said Mike O’Brien, vice president, corporate and product planning, Hyundai Motor America. “This accolade proves once again the Veloster is the best in its class, combining stellar interior, performance drive, digital connectivity, and top of the line safety features into a sporty, efficient, and most importantly, competitively-priced package.”
The 2015 Hyundai Veloster is designed to make a bold statement, engineered to be a powerhouse with impeccable style and impressive space.  It has the sleek design of a sporty coupe, packed with technology upgrades for multimedia enjoyment and performance enhancing gear like 17-inch alloy wheels, a dual centered chrome-tipped exhaust and a black rear spoiler. With these outstanding features and affordable pricing, the distinctive Veloster hatchback appeals to younger drivers looking for a standout vehicle to match their dynamic lifestyles.
