2014 Customer & Military Appreciation Event & Car Show |
The 1,000 free hot dogs, 1,000 free hamburgers, pop and door prizes were a hit.
Depending on who you asked,
others may have pulled in to peruse the over 100 classic and muscle cars, motorcycle or military display, as well as bid on one of the many silent auction items provided by area businesses and individuals.
The crowd also enjoyed the music of 14-year-old Ian Ridenhour & the Sonic Screwdrivers, who presented originals and covers, providing great entertainment during the event.
Whatever the reason, the people that stopped by Kupper Chevrolet were committed to making an impact in the lives of others by voluntarily opening up their wallets and hearts to make a free-will donation.
"The free-will donations were incredible," said Kupper. "That truly shows that people are passionate about supporting families of our military and were willing to open their wallets to show their appreciation."
The Emergency Relief Fund assists N.D. National Guard Soldiers, Airmen and their families who surmount sudden and unforeseen emergencies by providing financial support in the form of grants.
Check out photos from this year's event & stay tuned for the grand total brought in by the generous donations of our great community!
